In 2010, China's total output of activated carbon accounted for about one-third of the world's total output, and the export volume accounted for more than 40% of the world's total export volume, Liang Daming said at the promotion conference of cooperative industries jointly held in Beijing by the National Coal Research Institute and the people's Government of Changge City, Henan Province, on the theme of "joint cooperation and win-win progress". Only in Changge City, Henan Province, there are more than 30 active carbon production enterprises, including Henan Daming Chemical Co., Ltd., including 7 Enterprises above Designated Size, with asset scale of 195 million yuan and total industrial output value of 360 million yuan. Especially in the field of activated carbon for air purification and sewage treatment, Changge City plays an important role in the world's activated carbon industry.
According to Xu Xiaojie, chairman of Henan Daming Chemical Co., Ltd., the company is currently one of the largest active carbon production and technology development bases in China, and its "Daming" brand products of granular active carbon, iron oxide, fine desulfurizer, oil absorbent, hydrolysis catalyst, mercaptan conversion catalyst, MSQ, PDS, petroleum additives and other series of products have reached the target of China Internal advanced level. These products are widely used in many fields, such as chemical industry, food, textile, electronics, steel, oil, gas, sewage treatment, tap water purification and environmental protection. They have been used by dozens of large and medium-sized enterprises, such as Hubei Yihua group, Guangdong Maoming Shihua group, Sichuan Panmei group, Qilu petrochemical, Shougang Group, Henan coal group, Shanxi Fengxi group and Shandong Yankuang Group Households.
